Lesson 1 — Understand the Main Points

Understand main points, important details, sequence, and speaker/writer purpose in clear familiar Mexican Spanish and short connected texts.

Primero quiero comer. Luego voy a trabajar.

First I want to eat. Then I am going to work.

No estoy de acuerdo. Sin embargo, es posible.

I disagree. However, it is possible.

No entiendo. ¿Puede repetir?

I do not understand. Can you repeat?

Si tuviera tiempo, iría.

If I had time, I would go.

Focus:recover the message, not a word list. Audio-first transcripts remain hidden until a correct answer or Reveal; reading rolls show a short connected text because reading itself is the Understanding task.

Lesson 2 — B1 Sustained conversation

Sustain a multi-turn familiar conversation, explain a problem or opinion, and fix misunderstanding without deto finish on one memorized script.

No entiendo. ¿Puede hablar más despacio?

Lesson 3 — B1 Connected Presentation

Give a connected account or explanation with reasons, timeframes, and basic organization using only previously learned language.

Suelo comer aquí. Después voy a trabajar.

I usually eat here. Later I am going to work.

He terminado el trabajo. Por eso estoy contento.

I have finished the work. That is why I am happy.

Dudo que sea posible. Sin embargo, es importante.

I doubt that it is possible. However, it is important.

Cuando llegue, voy a comer. Después voy a trabajar.

When I/he/she/you arrive(s), I am going to eat. Later I am going to work.

Connected practice:tense and connector choices must preserve the intended relationship between ideas. The goal is an understandable connected message, not naming a grammar rule.

Lesson 4 — B1 Confirmed

Show the skills from this stage in later, different situations, including self-correction of meaning-changing errors and without help getting unstuck in conversation.
